Day 1 - Arrival

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a private transfer will be arranged to take you to your hotel. Local representative will meet you and have a full safari briefing in the evening.

Day 2 - Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Moshi, Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse reserve renowned for its dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife. As you travel to the park, enjoy the changing landscapes, from the towering peaks of Kilimanjaro to the lush greenery that surrounds the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Once inside the park, embark on an unforgettable game drive. Lake Manyara is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and breathtaking flocks of flamingos wading in the alkaline lake. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants moving gracefully through the woodlands and hippos wallowing in the water. The park’s dense forest and open savannah provide a rich habitat for a variety of species, including giraffes, buffaloes, and countless bird species. Day 3 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, set off for one of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today’s highlight is a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the "Garden of Eden," the crater floor is a wildlife haven, boasting one of the highest densities of predators in Africa. As you descend the steep walls of the crater, the breathtaking sight of the 600-meterdeep basin unfolds.

Spend the day exploring this self-contained ecosystem, which is home to over 25,000 animals. Day 4 - Serengeti National Park

Day 6 - Central to North Serengeti

Day 7 - North Serengeti

Day 8 - Kogatende to Zanzibar

Start the day with a leisurely breakfast at the camp before transferring to Kogatende Airstrip for a scenic flight to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival, our team will warmly welcome you and begin the journey with an enchanting tour of Stone Town, the historic heart of Zanzibar and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its narrow, winding streets, discovering centuries of history reflected in the fusion of Swahili, Arab, Persian, and European influences. Highlights of the tour include visits to the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, the Sultan's Palace, and the bustling Darajani Market.

After exploring Stone Town, we’ll proceed to the northern beaches of Zanzibar for check-in at your serene beach resort. The rest of the day is yours to unwind and soak in the tropical tranquility.

Day 9 - Mnemba Atoll Tour

  • Mi Adventures'23 will not be responsible for any cancellation or rescheduling fees due to any reasons.

  • US citizens need a one-year multiple entry visa, which costs $100. You can apply for the visa online in advance or get it upon arrival at the airport.

Insurance
Expectations during trip
  • For this trip, recommend to use soft bags or duffel bags that can fit in the trunk, avoid suitcases as they consume a lot of space and are hard to fit in.
  • Domestic Flights - Only 1pc of 20 kg check-in baggage is permitted per passenger free of charge. Hand carry is limited to 1pc of 5 kg soft bags ONLY.
  • Safari jeep is equipped with six individual and comfortable seats with guranteed a window seat for each guest.
Tips
  • Tipping your safari crew is a well-established. Though never mandatory, clients are encouraged to tip their crews if their performance is up to your expectations. Expected Tips your guide and crew ($30 - $50 per day per vehicle)
