In July 2024, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by summiting Mt. Elbert, the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains. With the expert guidance and support of Mi Adventures'23, particularly Pankaj and Shalaka, I successfully navigated the challenging 9-mile hike. Despite being the oldest in the group, I felt well-cared for and motivated. The breathtaking summit views made the grueling ascent worthwhile, and I'm grateful for the experience and the friendships forged on this adventure

Sudhir and I joined Mi Adventures'23 in June 2024 and were immediately impressed by the group's inclusiveness, discipline and supportive atmosphere. My first trip with Mi Adventures'23 to Eben Caves in UP was unforgettable. Pankaj, an inspiring and skilled leader, motivated us all to discover a passion for hiking. The trip was flawlessly organized, with thoughtful attention to detail—from gear recommendations to transportation, lodging, and meals. Undertaking the Kailash-Mansarovar Parikrama with Mi Adventures'23 was an incredible experience. Looking back, I do wish I had the chance to participate in their preparatory treks, as they put a lot of effort into physically preparing participants for every adventure. Beyond its spiritual significance, for me, it was also a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make many new ones. True to human nature, the group remained energized and positive throughout the trip. The leadership team's contribution in making this journey successful truly deserves recognition.

I joined the Kailash Mansarovar Parikrama in August 2024 with Mi Adventures'23, alongside 38 others. The journey wouldn't have been possible without the Nepali sherpas, Pankaj, Milind, and the camaraderie of our group. Throughout the trek, I made lasting friendships and grew as a person, with everyone offering small acts of support. At Diraphuk, many doubted they could finish, but most showed great perseverance to complete the trek. For those who didn't, there is no regret—seeing Mount Kailash up close and crossing Yum Dwar was an achievement. Now, we're all ready for Moksha 😊.

MI Adventures 23 offers a well-structured training program that prepares individuals with minimal hiking experience for challenging trips worldwide. I joined Pankaj and his group to train for my September 2024 Mt. Kailash trip. Though I had limited experience, the group organized weekly hikes in Michigan and provided clear instructions on what to bring and where to meet etc. To prepare for high-altitude hikes, they arranged mountain trips, including Mt. Elbert in July 2024. The planning was excellent, with boxed lunches, snacks and expert safety tips for high-altitude trekking. Thanks to their training, I successfully completed the 3-day Mt. Kailash parikrama. I highly recommend MI Adventures 23 for training and planning if you're considering hiking trips like Mt. Kailash or Kilimanjaro.
